Steve McKinley lives in Athens, Ohio where he works primarily in paper mache' sculpture. Versed in a wide range of subjects with many new ideas presenting themselves everyday........ there is never a shortage of subject matter. The sculptures range in size from small table top pieces, to life size and even larger.
Paper-mâché, is a construction material that consists of pieces of paper, sometimes reinforced with textiles, stuck together using a wet paste (e.g., glue, starch, or wallpaper adhesive). The crafted object becomes solid when the paste dries.
