Another Virago Varient. This time it's more of a Flat Tracker style bike.
Since the Cafe Virago pics were such a hit I thought I'd post this highly modified TR1 tracker. The TR1 is a not a Virago but it's a very very close cousin. Anyway I love the kind of balls it takes to try builds like these especially when it pays off so nicely. Oh and I saw these over on ADV rider but tracked them down to the excellent (and all in Italian) Ottenero Blog. Really interesting stuff.

Kawasaki Versys converted into a "real" adventure bike.
Now THAT'S a dirtworthy Versys. Wish I had more info in the modifications but all I have is the picture. Obviously there has been a feont end swap (from a KLR perhaps?) and a rear spoked wheel grafted on. Great Stuff!

The Cycle World "Budget Build" E-bay special Street Tracker from last months issue.
I read the article on this bike and while it's a cool project I think it really skewed things a lot having the owner / builder of Mule Motorcycles essentially create this bike. I'd wager that it'd be a little tough for even a good amateur to put a bike like this together for $8500. Not without falling into a LOT of lucky deals on parts. It's stil a cool ride though.

Reader Ride! Beautiful Custom Moto Guzzi
George Dockray sends in some pictures of this beautiful Moto Guzzi frankenstien Cafe.
George Writes:
Thanks Much George! Another Beautiful Guzzi!

George Writes:
Hi,
I noticed that you like Guzzis of the hot-rodded sort, so I thought that I would send you some shots of one that I concocted that might described as "what happens when you heat the garage"
It's a mixture of various components - '75 frame, '78 engine, 80's-ish gearbox, 2001 clutch, '95 forks, 80's wheel hubs. The tank & seat is from Manel Segarra in Spain. Pain color from a 2002 Guzzi V11 "Tenni". Fairing is a re-pop of a Magni. Instrument panel, exhaust, battery box, electrical system / wiring by me. Used to work on rebuilding wrecked airplanes so hence the riveted structure and airplane-style wiring.
Took 2 1/2 years to build and as much fun as you can have with your clothes on .............................
Thanks Much George! Another Beautiful Guzzi!

Another unrelated shot of a really unusual and very trick Honda Twin sportbike from an earlier post.
I stumbled across this bike again by accident over on ADV rider. This same bike was the subject of an earlier post HERE! Anyone know anything more about this beauty?

Outrageous custom turbocharged XS650?
I stumbled across this very radical build pic on a message board. It was billed as an XS650 based custom. I'm not so sure though. Either way there's a LOT of love in this build. There is no other info available. If anyone can fill us in it'd be much appreiated.
