While we're on BMW's. Here's a beauty of a 1964 R69S. And it's For Sale!
It's for sale in Rhode Island. You'll have to track it down through IBMWR ads section. That's all the info I have. Beautiful old classic.

1964 R69S
This beauty is a high mileage rider (96k) that I would drive across
country tomorrow. Frame up restoration in '85. Oil changed and valves
checked religiously. Enduro bags, Denfeld solo, S fairing, large
tank,Brown side stand, and bar ends. Various bumps and knicks that
accompany a rider. Starts second kick, and will draw much attention
wherever you go. Rear fender recently painted in Ohio (glasurit), so
color match is no problem. Will crate for shipment on this continent
only.
Price: 10,000
Location: Rhode Island

Just a few more of that Brough.
I was sent these from the owner himself Mr Ronald Michael Hull and one of the larger ones is now by desktop background. OK I admit it. I'm smitten.. But Damm what a fine machine.
For more fantastic photographs that you'll have time to view in one sitting please check out his flicker page HERE!

Vintage racebike, pints and a game of darts...
I've unintentionally insulted the owner of this fine steed today so I hope this makes up for my sleight.. Are you on here George?

Reader Rides! Kickstarters Only! My Kind of BikeNight!
Eric Stofer sends in some pics of his local ride. Great Stuff!
He Writes:
He Writes:
"Hey Steve
As promised, here's a sampling of a WNA (wednesday night assholes) ride. This week, a garage tour. 1969 Royal Enfield first startup after rebuild and a 1946 Velo which is running, riding and is a fresh restore (just needs a bit of tweaking). Otherwise, what you see is a typcal, after work, wed night turnout.
Bikes are: 57 TRW, 69 BSA Lightning, Various 70's Nortons, a Bonneville, a Tiger, an Indian Enfield, a 65 Norton Atlas....usually 8 to 12 bikes going for a noisy burn and a pint. Enjoy!"
